This is a draft written to match how MentorMia actually works today. It is not a substitute for legal advice — have it reviewed by a lawyer before treating it as final, and fill in the bracketed placeholders with real business details first.

1. What MentorMia is

MentorMia is a discovery feed. We index publicly available content — videos, podcasts, articles — that mentors have already published elsewhere (YouTube, podcast platforms, blogs), and we organize it by category. We do not host this content. Every piece of content plays through the original platform's official embedded player or links out to where it was published. We show a title, a short description, a thumbnail, and a link — never the full work itself.

2. Accounts

Signing in is optional to preview the feed and required to see more than each mentor's newest few posts. You sign in with a Google or Meta account; we don't collect or store passwords. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what we receive from that sign-in and what we do with it.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the service to scrape, republish, or redistribute indexed content in bulk
Attempt to bypass the sign-in wall through automated means
Interfere with the service's operation or attempt to access it in ways not permitted by these terms
Use the service for any unlawful purpose

4. Content and intellectual property

Content that appears in the feed belongs to the mentors and platforms that created and published it — not to us. We claim no ownership over indexed content. Attribution, source links, and the ability for a mentor to request removal are core to how this works; see our copyright and takedown policy for how to report an issue with specific content.

The MentorMia name, design, and the curation and organization of the feed itself are ours.

5. Mentor removal

Any mentor (or a platform on their behalf) may request removal from the index at any time. We honor removal requests without requiring a reason, generally within 48 hours. See our takedown page for how to reach us.

6. Termination

We may suspend or end access to the service for anyone who violates these terms. You may stop using the service, and request deletion of your account data, at any time — see our Privacy Policy for how.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't control the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party platforms we link to or embed from, and we aren't responsible for their content, terms, or practices. Use of embedded players is subject to the originating platform's own terms (for example, YouTube's Terms of Service apply to videos played through the YouTube embed).

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MentorMia and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
